The Role of the Early Years SENCo: Early Identification and Working with Other Agencies
The focus of this 65 hour (TQT) Award is on developing underpinning knowledge of Special Educational Needs and the extended range of individuals and agencies beyond their own setting who might be involved with children with SEND. Areas of study include: the 4 main areas of need, the use of the graduated approach in promoting good practice in early identification of difficulties, and the importance of positive involvement of parents /carers and outside agencies.
