Lee has been a Teacher for 20 years, specialising in Early Years & SEND. Having been a SENCO in three Local Authorities in England and Wales, Lee developed the understanding that children need acceptance, compassion, and empathy in order to feel safe and succeed at school. Lee began a role in the Behaviour Support Service and during this time attended training in the Nurture Approach, Incredible Years, Team Teach, Thrive and KCA. Lee qualified as a Thrive Trainer and was then appointed as the Relationship Manager for Thrive, working with schools across Wales, and later progressing to working nationally, delivering over three hundred courses to a range of practitioners. As a Senior Trainer Lee has been a speaker at the International Conference on Well-being in Dubai and was rated the best session across the two days with Optimus Education. Lee is passionate about the research which provides support to practitioners to impact the work they do with children and young people, and continues to expand upon their knowledge regularly.
