This award is made up of the three core units from the Certificate, so is also aimed at adults experienced in working directly with children or young people who have or have aspirations to take on greater responsibility within their organisation.

The shorter format provides a way for candidates to access core learning - and can be viewed as providing a clear insight into important understanding about working with vulnerable and traumatised children and young people – as well as being a stepping stone into the certificate
